The latest EMS market insights shared at the Evertiq Expo in Gothenburg paint a complex picture of European electronics manufacturing. While the industry shows resilience, it also reveals clear signs of pressure.
Across Europe, EMS revenues declined in early 2025.Even Germany — traditionally the backbone of Europe’s EMS output and responsible for nearly half of continental production — experienced a notable downturn before showing a modest recovery.
Challenging? Absolutely.
But numbers never tell the full story.
Despite the fluctuations, I believe firmly that “Made in Germany” still carries global weight. Not just as a label, but as a symbol of:
Trust
Precision
Consistency
A deep cultural pride in craftsmanship

For decades, German engineering has built its reputation on reliability and excellence. Those values do not disappear because of one challenging year.
